Now, let's dive into the Main Dish - Week 5 task

As usual, Drey dropped a new task, with the words "Omnisend or Sendinblue" at the end. I cited it because it was the first time I had heard of those; I had to inquire as to what they were, and I was informed that they are platform for email marketing campaigns.

The next step was to choose a brand to work on after going through the task. It took us two days to decide which market or brand to target. Some of us suggested the food industry, while others suggested the fashion and beauty sector.

Have you heard of Eve after Dark, a company that deals with food? That was the brand we thought of going for...You can check them out on Instagram.

Tell you something when they all dropped brand suggestions and jeez I felt like "Am I in this world at all, I mean how come I don't know about all these brands." I went to Twitter and IG to check them out immediately and Eve after Dark captured my heart with their food, and the packaging and all made sense and yeah they are only based in Lagos and Abuja.

For fashion/cosmetics🌜, Oreoluwa suggested Fenty Beauty. Then I asked her, why Fenty beauty?, she said "I choose Fenty because they recently launched stores in Nigeria but still, you don't see much of their promotions or ad online." Great idea right, so we decided to try it out.

Some of these questions arise when we were contemplating whether to go for Fenty Beauty or not.👇

Can men use their products? Are men their target audience as well?

Oluwaseun replied and said "No, I don’t think it’ll just be ladies. Enioluwa Adeoluwa is a guy and also an influencer representing Fenty beauty in Nigeria." Shocked? Nah, don't be 😅
