Digital Marketing Plan for Kuda Microfinance Bank

My team and I were assigned the task of creating a digital marketing plan and content schedule for any brand's social media platform.

So, we all agreed to work with Kuda Microfinance Bank after being offered the option.

The bank of the free is known as Kuda. This is because when you sign up for a subscription, you get a free debit card, no fees when you send money, and you even get 15% interest when you save automatically. Kuda, rather than existing commercial banks, would assist you to get the most out of your money.

This is a record of how we created our digital marketing strategy.

We conducted a survey, or market research, for a digital marketing strategy to be successful. As a result, we decided to compile all data on people who are likely to sign up for a digital-only bank, people who want to open an account in minutes, keep track of their spending, save more, and make wise financial decisions. Kuda's mission is to alleviate Nigerians of their worries about traditional banks, regardless of who they are or where they live.

Online Value proposition Having extensively researched the biggest woes and frustrations of bank users in requesting small business loans, debit and credit card monthly maintenance charges, cash management and checking account balance without having to press any code pin. Kuda Microfinance bank adequately optimizes its online banking services to give you, our customer, your best banking experience.

This marketing strategy was written to get brand engagement and increase online reputation.

Social Media Marketing Creating a presence on Facebook and LinkedIn which will allow us to reach niche audiences. Then we move on to use platforms such as Twitter and Instagram to reach additional users. Twitter is relatively simple to set up and maintain, and also there would be a need to create a business account for Instagram to correctly link it to the bank's Facebook business manager.

  1. Increase followers by connecting with others Reach out to local nonprofits, municipal organizations, local sports teams, and influential individuals. Typically, there is only a need to follow these profiles and they will follow you back. This forms the basis for increasing followers until we begin posting engaging content on a regular schedule.

  2. Scheduling social media posts Planning each on our social media platforms for the coming weeks or months. Creating the majority of our posts at least a month in advance is hugely beneficial, but this becomes more effective for the brand if the post is scheduled automatically. With the help of a Buffer (a tool), we plan to engage the audience more frequently. Buffer has a free version that is good for community banks or cost-effective plans for larger banks. The aim is to produce at least two updates each week across all of our social accounts, but we may also want to post as many as four or five times for more frequent engagement.

  3. Celebrating holidays via social media Most businesses are likely to post something on social media on major holidays. However, we realize most people haven’t considered celebrating National Pizza Day? Not to talk of National Tell-a-Joke Day? Even minor holidays are an opportunity to humanize Kuda bank and inject the personality of the brand into our social media platform and engage with our local audience. The use of the Hubspot calendar to achieve this by choosing two or three of these holidays each month that we think would be noteworthy or have an obvious tie-in to our community.

  4. Blogging It is an effective all-purpose strategy because it can be used to fuel every aspect of our digital marketing efforts. Not only is high-quality, unique and relevant blog content invaluable to SEO, but it can be used for lead generation through digital ads and is a great resource of continual content for the bank’s social media. There is a need to produce at least one unique, high-quality blog article per month and promote these articles on social media. Another great thing about blog articles is that they are evergreen. We can promote the same articles a few times each year to reach new users who may not have seen them the first time around.
